Deceased Estates

PROBATE OR LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION

PROBATE: When someone dies leaving a Will, it is usually the Executor or the Executors who obtain a grant of Probate from the Probate Registry of the Supreme Court. An application for Probate must be drafted and submitted to the Probate Registry so this can take place. This then allows the Executor to carry out the terms of the Will. We draft all the documents you need for this application.

LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION: If a person dies without a Will, or an Executor doesn’t want the job, an Administrator for the Estate must be granted. This may also be the case if there are particular errors in the Will. In cases like these an application for Letters of Administration will be drafted by us and submitted to the Probate Registry of the Supreme Court .

ADMINISTRATION OF THE ESTATE: If you are the Executor or Administrator of an Estate you may require assistance or you may simply prefer a professional to attend its administration. We can work with you in either scenario.
